THE TLAKUACHE, puppet shows, a group that began with a passion for puppets. After 10 years of work they realized that the puppet theater was not only possible to incorporate other arts such as dance and music, but the project had been joined by many others. Madmen who believe in that deep, lucid dream is the puppet theater, where they can do what an actor is not common: giving life to the material, living material which truly expresses what the heart wants. The Tlakuache presents Ubu Rey, a per-version of the work of Alfred Jarry, under the direction of Ihonatan Ruiz.

Jarry's classic version comes in a puppet show for adults. In addition to the superb craftsmanship of this company has become a tradition in the West, the story takes on new dimensions Jarry: seduced by the dark plans of his wife, Ubu comes to ambition for power as an end in itself. Our grotesque character fuels their desire for power and greed of his wife to the point of unreason and directs its action on behalf of dethroned, corrupts and kills, bringing its procedures to the absurd. But ... Ubu King, in this puppet version for youth and adults from age 16, is a story of kings happened in Poland. Any resemblance to reality is purely coincidental. King Ubu

Dad is in Atlantis is told from the point of view of "those left behind." Two children, one of eleven and an eight-year-old abandoned by his father, who crosses the border to find a better option for survival. The brothers, their mother, were left in the care of his paternal grandmother, then with an aunt and uncle, and so get passed "from hand to hand."
